Introduction

The UEFA European Championship, commonly known as the UEFA EURO, is a quadrennial international football championship contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The 2024 edition of the tournament will be the 17th edition and will be hosted by Germany from 14 June to 14 July 2024.

Tournament Format

The tournament format for UEFA EURO 2024 will be similar to that of previous editions. The 24 participating teams will be divided into six groups of four teams each. Each team will play each other once, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage. The knockout stage will consist of a round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final.

Tickets for UEFA EURO 2024 will go on sale in December 2023. Fans will be able to purchase tickets through the UEFA website.
