The Boston Celtics have taken a 1-0 series lead over the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals after a dominant first half on Wednesday night.
The Celtics, eager to win their 18th championship, came out firing and quickly established a lead. The Mavericks struggled to keep up, and the Celtics led by 21 points at halftime, 63-42.
The Mavericks face a tough task in trying to come back from such a large deficit. However, they have shown resilience throughout the playoffs, and they will be looking to pull off a comeback in Game 2 on Friday night.
